We are
fast approaching the Fall Extravaganza to be held on October 22. "The Fall Extravaganza Trio" consisting of
Chairmen Sherry Bohorfoush, Liz Guest, Janet Robertshaw, and their many
committees have been working hard toward our biggest fundraiser of the
year. It is not too late to help!
Please
bring your $50 donation/item for The Auction to one of the chairman immediately. We still
have not received items from many of our members. Please do not wait until the last minute to get
your donation to one of these ladies; The Bakery needs your participation. Please plan to prepare special "home cooked"
cakes, cookies, candy, breads, casseroles, soups, or any other item to be
sold. Items with decorative packaging seem
to sell faster; The Shoppe will be a cash and carry boutique shop. Any donated
items for The Shoppe would be appreciated; continue to invite your friends,
family, co-workers , etc. Don't forget
corporate tables are available and ...remember to sign up to work on one of the many
committees. Committee Chairmen will be
calling you regarding the work schedule - help for clean up on Thursday is especially needed.
Thanks to all
of you for your help and for the great response we have had regarding workers
for the Extravaganza. It will take all of us to make this day a success!
Each member is asked to help in the following ways:
For those with email: we
will be sending a promotional email for the event - please forward
it to friends and family to invite them and help us sell more tickets.
Get your $50 donation/item for The Auction to the co-chairs immediately.
Sign up to bring item(s) for The Bakery.
Pick up and purchase raffle tickets for diamond earrings donated by Sperry Snow at Barton Clay Jewelers.
Sign
up for one of the committees. All new members are required to be on a
committee. Clean-up help for Thursday is especially needed. Contact
Liz Guest if you can help with this.
