Many, many thanks for
an absolutely beautiful Poinsettia Ball. It is a gift to the young women of
Vestavia and to the Alabama Ballet. I must say, it was as meaningful and
beautiful as any Mardi Gras ball I’ve been to and more philanthropic! Tammy is
incredible—there is nothing she can’t do…and a true friend of the Alabama
Ballet. What an asset we all have with a dear friend like her. I’m very proud
of the job that you ladies do!
As per our
conversation, here is a nice email that was sent to us from one of our outreach
partners. We teach a 16-week inner city dance program to a community in
Ensley/Fairfield and they were given complimentary tickets to our Nutc racker.
Hope this helps in getting the word about to others about our outreach
component.

On behalf of Project Hopewell, Inc., the CityDance participants, parents and
many volunteers; we thank you for a wonderful evening at the Ballet! We
thoroughly enjoyed the Nutcracker. As expected, the CityDance participants
were so excited to see their instructors perform as well as the possibilities
for their hard work and dedication. It is impossible to express in words the
impact of attending the performance had on the lives of such young and
impressionable minds. Again, thank you and the sponsors that made the
attendance of the Nutcracker possible for these young
people.
