Ballet Women's Committee Begins New Season

The Ballet Women’s Committee began its 2007-08 year in September. The first official meeting of the year provided an atmosphere of fun and friendship as the members greeted each other after the summer break. Joining the membership at its first meeting was Gia Rabito, executive director of the Alabama Ballet, Tracey Alvey, interim artistic director, and Leslie Cooper, marketing and public relations director. 

The meeting, held at the home of Stacy Kingren, with food organized by Karen Askins, was a success, as the committee chairs for the annual Halloween Extravaganza provided information to the members and put the finishing touches on their planning for this year’s event.
